I would like to take this time and introduce myself. My name is Georgia Roach Ritzert.  I am a professional dog handler. I train and show dogs. I have been showing dogs for many years. Before this, I worked in my dog related business as I still do.
In our shop, we groom, teach obedience, agility and conformation classes. We board dogs and have a retail area.
As a professional all breed show dog handler, I travel from coast to coast. I specialize in the working and toy group rings, however, I handle all breeds. We have been very successful and have taken BOB's and Group wins in the very competitive Doberman and toy rings.
I enjoy working with all breeds of dogs and love nothing more than to take an unsure dog or puppy and help it to find the confidence to go out in the show world, do what is expected of it and to enjoy what it is doing. This should not be a job for them, but a game that they enjoy. If they like what they are doing it shows in their attitude in the ring. Besides the actual winning and finishing of a dog there is nothing that makes me more proud than to have a fellow exhibitor who has watched the dog I am showing from circuit to circuit come up to me and ask if that is the same dog they saw me with at....They can't get over the difference in the attitude of the dog. I have taken dogs that were shy in the first couple of shows, leaning away from the judge or not wanting to put ears or tail up and in a few weeks they are acting as though they had been doing this all their lives.

If they need to go home and mature a little, I will consult with the owner and send the dog home for awhile. Everyday we play (practice) so they know what to expect, dogs that have never been to a show spend some time just going ringside to get used to the noise and atmosphere. They need to know what to expect before they go in the ring the first time. It has to be enjoyable and comfortable for them in order for them to do their best.

Before I spend your money on entries and handling fees I look at the judges and the type of dog they prefer. I want to make sure that you have the best opportunity for success that is possible.
I, myself own and show Dobermans. We can also be found in the Miniature Pinscher ring, as well as Boxer, Affenpinscher, Irish Wolfhound, Great Dane, Brussels Griffon, Newfoundland, Chinese Crested, Springer Spaniels.

If you are in need of a handler and or would like to discuss showing your dog, please email or call. We would be happy to answer your questions.

I cannot guarantee your dog will win, I do guarantee to do the best I can for you and your dog.

For fees and or schedule or just to discuss your dog's show career, please contact us.

Thank you
Georgia Roach Ritzert
